lmao, burn your pads?

I hear that koxx browns work a whole lot better if you touch the surface of the pad on a belt sander, it makes it shiney, and a whole lot grippier!

Depending on the grit grade it will give it small groves which help remove dirt/water/dust, But you dont have to use a belt sander the same affect comes from just putting the sand paper on a flat surfce and rubbing it. But dont use a orbital sanders as they osilate(sp?) (that means they go round in a circle) this will leave circular scratches in the pad which will lead to more build up of brake dust and crap.

PS:Terror did you pu my name forward to a mod for validation like you said you was going to?(yeah this bits for terror only so no need to post back with "why you begging to be validated")

Yeah, i PM'd danny, but he doesnt seam to have validated you.

P.S to any other people that or gonna be anoyed by this, its because it think he makes VERY good posts which are helpfull and he puts lots of info in them :P

And oh yeah when sanding the pads, use a fine sand paper, because then this way it only takes the very top layer of pad off and it makes it smooth, therefore, making it just like a brand new pad!

it doesnt make the pad rough so it doesnt get brake dust cought in it :P

Oscillating means moving backwards and forwards in a semi circular motion, like electric toothbrushes do.

Rotating is moving in a circle.

Anywho, doing anyhting to the top surface of the pad will work for all of about 10 mins until it's worn off and your effort is worthless.

Rick smokes gives warnings on the box in big bold letters ill inform him to wear a ventilation mask and stand in a well ventilated area next time he smokes to minimise the risks :P so in the long term burning 1 pad will only be a lil bit 2wards a lung retarded death
