wayneone
Did it reduce the size of the pad? only one way to find out i guess...
Nick Dale
Doubt it as if you run a grind it will just wear the pad down smooth again anyway :P

downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
lmao, burn your pads? I hear that koxx browns work a whole lot better if you touch the surface of the pad on a belt sander, it makes it shiney, and a whole lot grippier! I hear that koxx browns work a whole lot better if you touch the surface of the pad on a belt sander, it makes it shiney, and a whole lot grippier! Depending on the grit grade it will give it small groves which help remove dirt/water/dust, But you dont have to use a belt sander the same affect comes from just putting the sand paper on a flat surfce and rubbing it. But dont use a orbital sanders as they osilate(sp?) (that means they go round in a circle) this will leave circular scratches in the pad which will lead to more build up of brake dust and crap. PS:Terror did you pu my name forward to a mod for validation like you said you was going to?(yeah this bits for terror only so no need to post back with "why you begging to be validated")

P.S to any other people that or gonna be anoyed by this, its because it think he makes VERY good posts which are helpfull and he puts lots of info in them :P And oh yeah when sanding the pads, use a fine sand paper, because then this way it only takes the very top layer of pad off and it makes it smooth, therefore, making it just like a brand new pad! it doesnt make the pad rough so it doesnt get brake dust cought in it :P

N.Wood
But dont use a orbital sanders as they osilate(sp?) (that means they go round in a circle) this will leave circular scratches in the pad which will lead to more build up of brake dust and crap. Oscillating means moving backwards and forwards in a semi circular motion, like electric toothbrushes do. Rotating is moving in a circle. Anywho, doing anyhting to the top surface of the pad will work for all of about 10 mins until it's worn off and your effort is worthless. watto
but if you do want to try wear a mask and do it in a well ventilated place as it says on the back of nitromors and other various toxic substances
