Mitch, what's your surname? You aren't the Mitch of "Mitch and Josh" fame from that Ride interview not so long ago?

Anyways, looks like I'll be at the park 'til about 20 to 4. My train leaves at 3:59pm, so I've gotta be gone by then :P

How quiet was it last Thursday? Anyone there?

Tom is always busy with college in the day and work in the evenings so I will reply for him :P

When I was speaking to him the other night about riding tomorrow he said he had college untill 12 then would go straight to whichever skatepark he decides to ride. If he does go to Bristol in the end the train from Salisbury will take just over 1 hour, or in the unlikely event that I come along it will be closer to 1 and a half hours in my car if the roads are busy...

How did you get on at Newport today Mark?!?!

I went by train.

Got up at 6:30am, got on the train at 7:15am, waited in the freezing f**king cold in Craven Arms for an hour at my stop-over, got on the train, then - less than 2 minutes from Newport station - some twat decides to kill himself by stepping out in front of our train.

No f**king joke.

We were held up for an hour and a half while the police came and scooped his body up. Got circled by the police helicopter, etc.

So anyway, get to the park, and there was a group of riders there. Don't know if it was Mitch 'n' his group or not 'cos I didn't really speak to them much, but they all seemed ultra sound, and there was some really cool lines and moves going on.

Rode like a bit of a wanker 'cos I haven't ridden a real skatepark in the longest time, and it was my first time using pegs in quite a while, but it was fun all the same.

On the way back, got stuck in a station-less Craven Arms station (i.e. no buildings, 'cept for a little U-shaped building (if you look on it from above) where you could shelter from the wind. Spent 40 minutes there with some hotness (she was foxy :)), having to use my Sim with her phone ('cos she had no credit left and my battery was dead) so we could call Railway Enquiries, who then refused to believe that our train was late, or even that it was a train at all :P

Got back, and it's snowed just enough so that it's wet everywhere, to stop me riding. Found a sheltered spot and did some stuff, and a kid who looked exactly, exactly, exactly like Siders randomly said "Where's your T-Bone these days, Mark?" This kid's like 15-16, and he remembered my T-Bone proto frame, that I spoke to him about when I had it abooooooout 2 1/2 years ago.

WTF?

Craaaaaaaazy day.

EDIT: Going again this Monday, if anyone can make that :)
