Tomm
I can definitely see more people making "the change" in the next year or so, but I don't think it will ever take over. Long bikes are here to stay I am sure, people will always want to do the biggest sidehop or gap or something, which is something that is much easier on a longer bike. But we all know that 24" is more fun <_<
TomN
Aye i want to go 24" now <_< but cant afford/find a cheap 24 frame :)
Janson
it's definitely going to be this summer's must-have.. i'd like one, i'm getting bored of my long, low and silver bike, haha.
N.Wood
I might have to build up my old Giant frame with random bits and risers for some fun. I generally use my Azonic jump bike for anyhting other than UCI though.
george_bush
If any cheap 24" frames come out then i might think about it but at the moment i feel i have a nice bike for street but still resembles a trials bike a pashley 26 ghz
Brian Bleech
24" is awesome - been riding them for 2 years. I love it i can ride natty, street, skateparks on mine, plus i can't afford/don't have the time for more than one bike really. I know it ain't the best bike for BIG taps, gaps, sidehops, but i just love blasting at random seeing what can be done.
Hoot
I don't understand all this, seems everyone is going 24" now. How long will it be before 26" become obserlete?? Hoot <_<
CurtisRider
stock will always be cool, and i think i will always ride it if i can 24 is going to grow, but im not sure if the other genres of trials will really suffer alot-i think it'll just open up trials more and tempt more in............i can see alot of dirtjumpers progressing towards the street trials direction that 24 has made more popular
Olly C
I bought a BMX to cover my streety moves, but it didn't work. I still think the long low and silver bikes are going too far so I've opted to move down from the Python to an Echo Team hopefully its the best of both worlds.. If I had the places around me suited for massive taps, sidehops and drop gaps I may have found it fun with a longer bike, but the fact is I dont and therefore a shorter bike would give me more options on a lower scale and hopefully make riding alone in the shithole village that I live in that bit more bearable.. Urpedigreechumdog
I bought a bmx for getting around on, but now i'm starting to use it more and more... I also bought a streetier trials set up, shorter frame, cut down bars etc etc...
BONGO
I quit trials for BMX. Amen... THE best choice i think i have EVER made. Never had so much enjoyment from anything ever. john
Ali C
I bought a bmx, but I didnt get on with riding it at all....I sold it a few months later. I much prefer to ride bmxy style with bigger wheels, just feels as if it fits me more, easier to bunnyhop, spin, manual.......... everything really. I am pretty much nearly finnished with my 24", other than frame and rear hub. Wont be giving up my proper trials bike though, theres nothing like the feeling you get after getting over some really tough natural. butcha87
Anyone want an Ashton Eddie Tongue 24" frame? £170 posted And yes, shitbmx is taking over, the most refreshing riding has come form the 24" brigade, Tim Pratt, Shrewsbury, Berridge, Feeney and all those other riders I have missed out! But we all know that 24" is more fun  only is spinny streety tricks are your thing. i personally love riding purer trials(although still mainly street) i ride with the same person all the time and at alot of hings we compete so we get better quick, but the best feeling and the most fun i have is when we both trying sumthing for ages then 1 makes it then the other straight after(and all the failed atempts leading up to it), that to me is where the fun in trials is

JT!
I hate the way 24" is always assumed to be street, that will hopefully die out in the next year or so. As for more people riding 24" / street, i haven't really seen much of an increase, or a decrease for that matter. I think more people are buying more specalised bikes - by that i mean bike purely designed for a certain aspect. Less and less people are doing a mix of street and UCI, and just going for one or the other. Also when poeple do switch to 24" / street they make a big deal out of it, but if it's the other way round it's kept quiet, as if UCI is less cooler than street. Edited November 21, 2005 by JT!
