I wish I did like bananas, they seem awsome. They're like a really healthy, but sweet, snack, and they even come in their own little wrapper.

Cheese toasty sounds good. But I've not got any Cheddar, and Wensledale doesn't really work that well. Toast + Honey?

Hot chocolate is about 10 times better than using tea :P

And yeah Peguin bars are best for this.

Practically anything will work in a Toasie Tomm!!!

Wensledale might well be good too.

Our house has had loads of variations on the best snack 'Toasties' :

-Chilli flakes, Tomato sauce, Cheese (any), ham and or chicken (wafer thin shredded, so as not to come out in one hot lump when you bite :))

- eggs (make sure you cook long enough) tastes good though

- Bannana alone, I suspect apples and sugar would make a variation on the things you get from McD's

-Bourbons - be sure to use lots of butter or it will be to dry

- Beans + cheese (don't burn yourself :P )

Anything goes,

I had a cheese (Wensledale) and chocolate toastie last night. I was alright, nothing special though.

Wensledale is not really ideal because it doesn't really melt. And it loses it's nice crumbly-ness. If you are posh, try cheese + mango chutney :P
