Heatsink Backings

Looking on the heatsink website at these new ally backings, but i dont understand how you go about putting other compounds in them? say you wanted to put Zoo! pads in there would you buy some Zoo! pads then cut them out of the powerpad backing and put them in your new metal ones?

Thanks mate. I was thinking about buying them but i dont see the point now if you have to buy the pads at £16-£19 anyway then have the hassle of cutting them out and stuff i think ill just stick with the plastic backings.

PS: Are koxx yellows any good on smooth rims?
