Dan-Walker
use triple butted DT spokes, using these makes the wheel build very strong. Edited November 19, 2005 by identitijudge05
Martin Grainger
The new Echo 06 hub on 05 Echo CNC rims (this years are meant to be a bit weak due to the drill hole being wider so there is a little gap to the wall of the rim) laced with triple butted DT spokes. Well thats what i think.
lankyri
depends on how wide you want the rim if you want a small thin rim then i would have to say d521/ ex721 cd on a hope xc/mono with DT spokes or if you want a wide rim onza ronnie with a hope xc/mono/bulb with DT spokes also i would say the new echo rim but they have only been out for a matter of weeks or so how can we judge them i do not know they look alot better than the old echo rim hope this helps ric
FoxRacer
i'm currently building up chris king (with all these expansive upgrades <_< ) on new echo rim with dt alpine spokes... hope it will work well. I'm not happy from my shimano hub on try-all rim
