Waynio Posted November 17, 2005 Report Share Posted November 17, 2005 im sorry but too many people on here take life too serious! why the f**k was the other topic closed? i personally feel that it was a good topic and certainly a talking point about our ride on wednesday in porthcawl. i just feel there is too much arsey ness going on on here. too many people either: a) stuck up their own ass b ) just aint having a laugh or want to kmow interesting things and best of all c) people give pretty poor advice and it really sucks. SO the idea of it is, to find out why people are like they are? why cant they just have a laugh and get on with it? cos personally from looking/reading other topics there is some stuff that should be pegged back and aint and others that get pegged back when they shudnt might only be me and my opinion on this. but i wouldnt mind a discussion in which people can give their valid view and explain why they personally feel they have to take and say things in a harsh manner, yet can be so nice when met in person and such forth. for all the people i have met and seen this year, i dont think i have changed and dont change myself on here, im not a 15 year old who hides behind the computer screen and thinks i can get away with it! i did that at one point when i was severly pissed off at "a" forum when they were talkingh about something i did. then got banned from it apologised to the people i offended and then thort wait a mo best actually respect people more and it gets you it back (but personally it doesnt on here!!!!!) and i think it sucks hence why when i post some of my posts will be "Blunt" and straight to the point. no need to give poor or crap advice give advice from what is known through knowledge NOT what is thought. Waynio....................... il give it 15minutes before this one is closed probably less, but it would be nice to see some light shed on this problem?.?.?. Waynio Posted November 17, 2005 Author Report Share Posted November 17, 2005 yo mat i dont want to be offensive BUT i will say what i think now. in the thread about trial noir, onzaboymark started an arguement it looked like you juumped on his ship and got heavily involved, it was like he was forming an army, its that petty shat that needs to go, most of onzaboy marks posts were edited so we couldnt see the original post. that is the main topic that has sort of triggerd this post. after for a length of time i thort it was good on here no arguements and shit and then all of a sudden its too good to be true. you may be a sound guy and i dont fully know you, but from a few random posts that i read i really did think to myself "f**k that guy has really annoyed me" but i wont judge a book by its cover unless i meet you and you come across the same. most people aint, but think they can on here, when all it does is NOT help the atmosphere when you meet people on big rides. i had this problem like 4 years ago and i totally regretted what i did and said and apologised for my action and then got on with it, i actually put more thought into what i was saying. some people like to be blunt and if they do and its something you dont like "a pinch of salt and take it with" spring to mind, jumble them around and you will work it out. general discussion still in progress. peoples comments and thoughts on the matter totally welcome. they wont be abused by the system Waynio............................ WTF!!!!!! thats pretty shody. to say the least, at least mine was trials related unless someone was wanking over bikes which would have been quite useless. Waynio....................... but this is why we are talking about it, cos we want peoples opinions and try to get people to actually chill out, and just relax as like someone has said its only a forum no one is going to become priminister on here, and no one is going to get far with some of the attitudes they have to fellow trials friends. The only reason we argue is because we are human, we all like different things, to be quite honest if this forum didnt have any arguing at all it would be a bit of a let down, people do agree and disagree, thats what forums are for, to have opinions, lets just all chill out and take a time-out, i don't know, lets organise a big forum ride, so we can all meet up and be mates, then we will all be okay. Waynio Posted November 17, 2005 Author Report Share Posted November 17, 2005 i posted it in the most "pointed out part of the forum" which was the idea iv seen super shit posts in here before and personally have thort why??? why would people talk about it???? but thats why i put that in cos it was amusing/funny/ and i thort people could have a laugh about it obviosly not, people dont have the same personality or want to have a laugh like me, i ad best not turn upto big rides any more cos i would distract too many people and cause controvosy :S sheet. but the thing is look at onza boy marks post, yes he deemed himself to be having a laugh but people took it the wrong way due to other posts he makes. or has made, now me i dont have a problem with him even though he had a go at me not so long ago about t-mags and i was wrong, yet my opinion on the matter was sor of valid to an extent i just didnt see why someone had to come across so "i know everything and no one knows more than me" kind of thing to young lads they dont want to hear that shit and get their heads full of it. when i go out riding in keighley there must be a group of 6-10 younger lads who will sit around watch and learn off all us older lads and we have a good old laugh, weather me crashing or doing a bit of bird spotting. we dont take things serious as there is no need were all there to have a laugh and enjoy ourselves. pretty much how i feel this place should be. i know you cant stop it all, but most of it can be stopped. personally i would mainly use this forum toanswer peoples questions in a fair manner and give advice i feel is correct from my own knowledge.i wont turn round and say "sorry mate your advice is crap and dont even want you to put your opinion across ever" cos people are entitled to their say and have views and soem peoples views i totally agree with and enjoy listening to them. prime example for the people reading about no bike show next year. chris ratcliffes part he wrote on section 7 is extremly in depth and one of them things that you read and your actually "in" the bike show it gets you into the action, yet i bet not many of you have read it and thought about it half as much as some people would cos it doesnt interest you. but its posts like that that to me are extremly interesting and very very inspirational!!!! nearly as much as martyn ashtons bit in hip hop. I know you dont need to calm down, I used to be pretty depressed and unhappy, but the way you see life and the way you live it inspired me, I now try to live the same way, life is too short to be unhappy. topics like this are a little confusing, your topic was closed, if it was mine I would just be thinking "Ohwell, whats for tea?" but you almost seem to take it personally? same with other people too, cinda conflics your " be happy" atitude, but then again, thats the message your trying to portray, dam I am confused :S Ps, this has actually turned into a nice discussion, good thread wayne!
