I know i will need paint stripper but what do i do, strip the frame with Nitromors up to the BB then polish and lacquer or strip to the BB then lacquer then polish? I'm in a bit of a pickle so any help appreciated, Kieron :S

ian
notromors then just polish it once all stickers etc are off and nitromors has been washed of, you will just need to polish it like every other week to keep it looking good due to oxidisation. Prawny Baby
no no, the thread cant be locked yet! theres more to say! you need to strip the WHOLE frame, including the laquer on the back end, or itll look crap! use nitromors all over the frame, paint it on continually, REALLY thickly! no wire wool or anyhting abrasive! just wipe it off with a cloth, and if neccessary, use a nail brush on the tough bits! once thats done set to it with the T-cut! use LOADS, work on little tiny bits at a time! once done, go over the whole frame to remove any nasty finger marks :S then wax the whole frame with a decent quality auto wax! which sprays/wipes on, then drys and you buff it off! this helps keepo it shiney for longer! i havnt done mine again sinse i first did it in June, so i reckon giving it a quick polish every month would keep it looking PERFECT! if you've done it properly the frame will be like a mirror to look at! and you dont need to repolish that often! to do it really well took me 4 hours for the frame AND stripping/sanding/polishing a set of echo urban forks its worth it! it looks awesome! Tom Booth
yeah because the laquer will remain on the back end of the frame making it look dog awfull when with a newly polished area, just stop being lazy and doing half a job and do the lot you whore
