Lets See Your Tattoos

I'm getting my first in a couple of months, I'll ninja edit the pics when I get home.

Its nothing big but it means a lot to me, because I don't think I have the maturity to decide on a huge piece yet, but I'm getting one in a few years down my right side, maybe a Phoenix rising from the flames, I'm planning to spend loads on it.

I wouldn't mind some scarification at some point, not sure whether I could go through with it though.

It's the portrait of the Joy Division vocalist isn't it Andy? I loved your last piece, the colours are amazing.

That in my opinion is the only reason you should get a tattoo (Y)

Not because it looks f**king gay and would make you smile, at least when you're 80 you can look back and say "Wow, that was an amazing time in my life."

exactly why i got mine done.

ive been riding trials for 8 years now and its pretty much ruled my life since i started so i thought what better way to remeber it than a tattoo that represents the sport. may not be to everyones liking but i love it and it also has my name in the links rather than the usual 'K's so its perfect.

I ad a beasty idea, I have a collection of some 4,000 cards with some amazing artwork on so I decided to look through them and came up with a few coices.

I think Ive decided on this and it leaves room for extending it from boththe tenticles as theysuddenly end in this pic.

I had 4000 pics to choose from and that one stuck along with one other but this looks more appealing and it can be eaily extended onto my back and down my arm.

Ill give ita few more weeks and if it still sticks im off to get it done.

I heard from Dan that for colour and own design its £60 an hour from the guy who did his so souldnt be more than 2ours work, the design is pretty simple when blown up a bit.

somehow i forgot i started this topic

scarification doesn't end up looking that great....

where did you hear about my joy division tattoo :S Ian curtis (lead singer) killed himself when he was 23, I'm going to have the portrait done at the same time that he died in his life in my life (i'm 23 right now, he died just before his birthday)...uhh so like in his life when he was hanging himself is the same time in my life which I will be getting a tattoo of him...kind of hard to explain..

but no my next one (right before christmass) will be covering my right bicep from the armpit to the elbow (so it will be visible when i'm wearing a t-shirt...ut ohhhhhh) , every day my idea gets larger and larger so it may go from a 4 hour piece to a 10 hour piece really fast :P $$$$$$$ for sure..

I technically have 3 tattoos right now, although if someone asks me if I have any tattoos I just say I have one...this one:

its funny because no one knows I have it and whenever they discover it they are amazed , it is rather large and took close to 15 hours...I guess I look like a normal guy and no one expects it. My parents sure did f**king FREAK out when they saw it; I told them I had a tattoo, they thought it was going to be something small...they were wrong :P

The other side of the ribs is next after ians portrait and my arm. Right arm is going to be dedicated to sailor jerry style (a full sleeve down the road when I'm more established)... It will be glorious and colorful, don't worry

I have had one designed (in my head) for years, can never afford it though :P - i guess it isn't too high on my priorities list though, not that i have a list...
