lol .. i know that

its just.. what are the pros and cons of doing that. The only thing i can think of is that you can change lots of different variables when your working in a lab ( this whole thing is talking about a pump and its efficiency and characteristics just incase anyone is wondering) which you might not be able to do when your field testing? ugh no idea.. google cant even work it out..

pretty much spot on you can control the environment whereas outside theres alot of factors that can affect it.

I never really pursued science any further than gcse so im probaly talking nonsense :D
