if you do a search there a quite a few topics that mey come up, that have been here before. But imo i think that windows movie maker is fine, unless you are doing some really advanced stuff, but i don't know what to use for that, so ask others for that. Also when you have done your edditing post it up on here so we can have a look(at the vid and your edditing)

how much do you have for the camera?

hope i help

i have not a lot for the camera, well nothing at the moment its just i need to get a better one than mine because it loses alot of quality when i make the vids. just wanted to see what people were using and see if i like it

Well how much would you be willing to spend?

them cameras that record straight onto a dvd are great, my friend has one, a bit pricy though, being arround the £400 mark, (£425.00 i think).

hope i help

I use Pinnacle Studio 9 to edit my videos, its so simple. I have recently got my hands on Adobe Premier 6.5 which at the moment im playing around with as its a little bit more far fetched than pinnacle.

I film using a Sony Xl1 movie camera its sweet!

ok then, what camera is out there for 200max and will take some good footage

Get yourself on ebay and have a gander. Almost all electrical goods are made to be 'disposable' these days so be careful if you're considering a second hand one. You may find some brand new bargains on there though.
