Nay
D.A.I leisure persiuts, a shop down the road from where i live, are selling a top spec Onza T-raptor for £500, but they are also selling the lower spec Onza T-rex for the same price. which is the better bike ? Dr. Nick Riviera
the t-rex is probably a better frame to build up on for a higher level bike but if you're a beginner i'd say the raptor will probably be better specc'ed and therefore much more use to you
Sponge
Get Spec 1 T-Rex, much stronger frame, only one I personally know to have cracked which is the ferret's. The parts on Spec 1 arent too bad, just upgrade rear hub/wheel to a Hope build at least, apart from that it's a pretty solid bike that'll need very *slow* upgrading, seeing as the cranks are pretty good, forks are decently strong, bar and stem good... Yeah its the rear hub and brake pads you'll want to change.
rickyb
Get the t-rex mate they are a lot better bike's, and not a bad spec. So they are the ones you want to be getting :P rickyb
smelly joe
i bought my onza t-pro from DAI and i saw both the t-raptor and the t-rex, i would say that you go for the lower spec t-rex, they are much nicer frames to ride than the t-raptor.
