bikerdude2006fr
its your freehub mate :P this happened to me, on my combat, im gonna try to fix it soon by opening up the hub and cleaning and regreasing it, and if that doesnt work itll be a new hub or freehub body :-
smelly joe
Shimano freehubs are usually quite bad for doing this. between four of us we managed to get through a good 8 or 9 shimano and mission hubs in the period of a couple of months. Now i've got a fixed rear hub and everyone else are running hope's and we have had no problems since. :P
mackey
i had this problem to with my shimano deore hub i opened it up and it was all shattered and everything had gone wrong in it so i got a new hub best bet is to open up your wheel and have a look in side :P

smelly joe
What rear hub are you running on your bike at the moment??
Mark W
It's most likely chain suck. In which case, you need to either take a link out of your chain/get it tighter, or double check if the teeth of the cogs/chain are messed up in any way. mad max
What rear hub are you running on your bike at the moment?? I have a DDG hub that came with my shooter. It had the tango wheel build. My chian has been jumping off more recently, and the bike is nearly three years old.
smelly joe
Im pretty sure that the ddg hub is the same as the mission hubs, and from past experience it tends to be the freehub which tends to mess up. your best bet is getting a new hub. hope hubs are really good, plenty of engagments dont brake often and if they do hope service is excellent (Y)
Zoo_Monkey
just to add - its always worth checking the chain for stiff links, this can also have the same effect (althogh its much less likley) but it can save you hours of repairs to have a quick check aside from that - i agree it sounds like the hub is foo-bared (Y) Edited November 15, 2005 by Zoo_Monkey
