Rb Cylinders

ok well say your rb cylinder is a bit scored n rough how would you get it smooth again? use a dremel right? what attachmnet am i looking to get? how much they roughly cost? will polishing it up stop it leaking? do i need to use any sort of polishing liquid? (Y)

Yeah, I asked around if polishing the minx would make it better. I got told you can polish it and it won't work. I also got told you can leave it and it won't work.

In the end, my lever just pissed like a racehorse.

My RB is fine and I've not touched it. I know some people who have used a dremel and it helped if they had an obvious score down the inside of the cylinder. I honestly don't understand why everyone has such problems (Y)

it seems to be the luck of the draw.........

get edd potts (dave85 on here) to take a look at it-hes pretty nifty with them (Y)

alternatively you could have the cylinder bored out, and a new sleeve put in like on the older hope levers-that would certainly sort it (Y)
