Ali C
a few comp riders might dissagree with that snappel..........Comp riders can be VERY hard on bikes, more so than street riders I recken.
Lukeee
Bear in mind that 24" bikes are going to get ridden harder than competition orientated frames. Most of the Ashton ET frames have cracked now because they can't take the abuse. Might be worth making a prototype though... :( a few comp riders might dissagree with that snappel..........Comp riders can be VERY hard on bikes, more so than street riders I recken. Both valid points. I think Snappel was thinking of moves like Grinds etc. I think the idea is a winner expect a prototype soon....
Tony Harrison
I think you're right Ali. Thinking about it, and some of the sections I've seen at Addingham I have to agree with you. And yeah Luke, no harm in a prototype, and if you don't get time to test it you know where to send it! (Plus, send me that information)

Badboy
Luke, im so happy that your gettin this frame into production. After that little ride i had on it at Excel i was seriously impressed. It felt so nice, (an that was without havin my own set up on it, bars etc.) It is a very nice frame guys, an for a ti one it is very reasonably priced. Well done again, look forward to havin a proper go on it sometime.
Gazza
No problem, if the client is going to do grinds on the bike, then we will weld on plates along the chainstays to protect the main tubing from wearing off. And if the Ashtons cracked. Tell me where they did crack. We will make the area extra stiffer.
Tony Harrison
Mainly at the headtube, under the top or down tube. Luke - I meant send me the website info you goon.

A few have had a flared headtube too

lankyri
very nice but not for 695 lol theres alot of frames these days that are alot cheaper eg adamant and onza
Tony Harrison
Yeah... and Ashton, Zoo, Echo, Koxx, Mission, DiamondBack, Czar.... But they're all mass-produced aluminium frames. The whole point of the Deema is it's a custom titanium performance frame for people who want to spend more money on something better. It's like the Maclaren F1 of the trials world. Krisboats
very nice but not for 695 lol theres alot of frames these days that are alot cheaper eg adamant and onza made out of Ti though? I don't remember seeing a Ti adamant frame for sale anywhere... Nice one guys looks pimping!
Martin Grainger
Just had a look on the adamant website at the A2 frame, looks very similar, i'm NOT saying you copied it because the designs are still only in 3D form but it looks very nice. :P
Tony Harrison
You could say it looks similar to a lot of frames. For what it's worth, Dimitri and Luke wanted to build a standard triangular frame with low standover height. Working with titanium means that you can't feasibly have curved/bent tubes. There are so many different designs of frame it's going to be impossible for it not to look like one of them.
Martin Grainger
No, i was just saying because i've only just seen the A2 frame, i wasn't complaining, accusing or trying to say it was a copy its just that they do look very very similar and i understand what you mean by it being difficult to not be similar to something else. not trying to start anything :P
JT!
Looks very yummy to me. The mod version sounds like it's going to be lighter than the t-lite. I don't think i'd be brave enough to buy one befor a few other riders have ridden them though. I'll be interesting to see how they hold up. :P Edited November 25, 2005 by JT! I should think it will be alot lighter. We will have two good mod riders testing the frames when they hit the shores. Infact one of them will be thrashing the frame up and down the country at various different competions. Once we have some decent rider feedback we can go from there.
