Pc And Mac Troubles, Internet Connection

any help would be appreciated here!!!!!

right,

i have a mac, and three pc laptops on a wireless network in my house, i have been having trouble all day getting on the net, then suddenly, it doesnt work anymore, i am recieving full signal from my router, but i just cannot get on the net, and anything net based doesnt work, so itunes store, messenger etc.

however, if i restart my mac, then everthing seems to work fine,

i have searched all pc's for these tartybikes virus, but nothing is coming up?

any ideas would be good

p.s weather is atrocious here if that might be a factor. like windy etc.

anyway, help please.

Hey,

This happened to me too about 30 seconds ago. Fortunately, I'd downloaded the patch for it yesterday, otherwise I'd have been f**ked (Y)

You need to get the patch that Danny posted a link to in the "Virus Warning" thread, on either page 1 or 2. That should sort it - at least it did for me.

Was so frustrating though, 'cos it'd work fine, then die, I'd restart and it'd be OK, then it'd die, then it just didn't come back...

Yeah. As above says, I phoned BT and there was something up with it. Mine was off and on all day. Stupid thing.

Mine's on Wi-Fi from downstairs and I thought it might of been that but the signal was like 70% so I was confuzzled.

BT suck ass at times.
