trialsinchris
Hi, i was watching jib the other day and i noticed one of the riders was doing fakies without pedalling backwards, i was just wondering what you need to do this, and if any of your bikes do this, i no you dont realy need to fakie in trials just thought it would be a cool feature to my bike also could you still use whatever parts hes got to do it when using a front freewheel, any help apriciated thanks. :(
Ali C
he builds his cassette with a "nutural" gear. This is just a smooth spacer, he pedals towards the object and before he gets to it shifts onto the spacer, then freewheels and does the move. cant really see any point, using your pedals to controle yourself and do tricks out of looks better :(

Trials Dave
I thaught he used a freecoaster hub? i couldnt fancy using a freecoaster for trials though. use some skill and pedal backwards when you land. haha (Y)
Brian Bleech
i think only one or two companies make mtb free coaster hubs (and even the bmx ones are pretty shite) . I know a few people (aaron chase being one) use a nuetrel gear that ali descibed. but yeah back pedalling rocks anyhow mike
Trials Dave
yeah once youve been pedalling backwards for a while it feels un-natural not to pedal backwards. i think it is easier when you have to pedal backwards aswell.
