TheCircus
The aim - well my ibook ain't the henchest of computers, and my new found love of online games has driven me into the insanity of buying a PC. Now I can get moniters etc in my own steam, but the tower is the most important part I think. I will be playing - World of Warcraft, F.E.A.R, Battlefield 2, Half Life 2 etc. Those type of games. I want a decent framerate and some pretty good graphics. I am tired of 7fps in lowest detail in warcraft. Well after a bit of research my PC knowledge is still fairly limited, but I have come up with this website; Monkeyware Now, the practical gaming spec looks like an excellent deal for what I want it to do. But I have heard that I should take the graphics card update. Anyone got any opinions on this? I have about £500-600 to spend. Maybe a bit more. I am also willing to try to build a PC myself, can't be too difficult.
tank_rider
To be honest the spec of that pc is pretty shocking for the money. Heres a quick spec, it doesnt include a case as you will probably have ideas as to how you want it to look. That should be pretty balanced and perform pretty damn well in most games Edited November 8, 2005 by tank_rider
Tomm
I'm pretty sure that website has made a typo on the graphics card. Aside from that it's a pretty awsome spec, there is no way they would ruin it by sticking in a bottom of the range graphics card, especially for gaming. And you can't get the 6200 in 512mb anyway. Ring them up if you like?

tank_rider
building on what college boy said, the titan system on overclockers looks damn good, and is a tiny bit cheaper than the spec i posted (as that needs a case including in the price too) although the graphics card is a lot less powerful, and the motherboard and psu arent as good, it does have a slightly larger hd though.
