mackey
if you are on a budget go for the acs claw welded freewheel avalible from cleanbikes these are cheap and do not come loose. But if you have money get the ENO white industries these are really good and well worth the money. Either one are good it is just if you have the money :)
random
ACS if you must ENO if you can Tensile is gonna piss all over an ACS and be as good and better than ENO but for lots lots less!!! They are going to be stronger on the casing and wont come undone with this wicked system they got for it fititng and tool to be used! Onzaboymark is the dude you need to chat to about it. I'm impressed and sold with it and want to get one
Trials Dave
i would go for an acs claw. thats what i use and ive never had a problem with it.
Towler
I would wait for the new tensile one, meant to have 50 ep and should be quite good :)

Trials Dave
I would wait for the new tensile one, meant to have 50 ep and should be quite good :) how much will it be though in comparison to the acs.
Mat Smith!
how much will it be though in comparison to the acs. I think it was about 30 pounds? I remember reading about it on OTN :) ACS is your best bet mate, however, the Tensile one will be very good, but I don't know if will be out any time soon :P
random
Yeah £30-£40, think oTn was listed as £35. Mark is getting a new one and will not be that much logner there after dude to it coming out and it will be shit hot, dam hot and even Petey boy might give it a go
Trials Dave
i mite wait for it then because my acs is starting to skip quite often. for the price of an acs i mite just buy a new one now and get the tensile one when it comes out. Mark W
my thoughts exactly - it doesnt seem worth forking out 80quid for an Eno when you can get one of those echo freehubs for 120quid so short of dropping FFW altogether waiting for the Tensile is the best plan. Think about it. Echo hub = £120 Spokes = £10 Build = £10 Fixed sprocket = £20~ Bashring = £20~ So your "£80 vs £120" comparison becomes "£80 vs around about £180". £100 more? For a totally unproven hub? Erm... Anyway, my Eno's great. I'm waiting for the new Tensile freewheel to turn up, and then I'll be running that. The last one felt super good, but there'd been a mistake with the metal used for the freewheel, so that was arse. It's been rectified though, just gotta wait :( The Tensile felt just like the Eno - it had 60 engagement points, so there was virtually no difference in feel in that sense. The driveshell was just as stable, which was surprising as it's open bearing, and all was well. I've got my Eno back on now, and I've just properly, properly stripped and serviced it, and it's louder and better than ever. Keep an eye out for a cheap Eno. I got mine brand new, boxed, from someone for £60 (I think - it's been almost a year), and apart from having to buy a new lockring I've had no trouble with it. It's far, far superior to the ACS Claws. I had to go back to a Claw whilst waiting for my new lockring, and it was terrible. Skipped all the time, felt like shit, got looser and looser, engagement wasn't as strong, and so on. You really get your moneys-worth with the Eno, *Especially* when it comes to having to strip it down at any point. Sealed > open.
monkey gav
buy a cheap freewheel and weld the lockring to the bottom part ive got one and its lasted a year now but if u can the tensile sounds damm good :( gav

JT!
Tensile is gonna piss all over an ACS and be as good and better than ENO but for lots lots less!!! The tensile isn't going to be better than the eno. It may have better point about it yeah, like the tool you need, and the fact that's it's cheaper. But the eno will always be a better frewheel. Erm... where does it say im supposed to think before i post :( i reckon i could do it for 140-150 making use of my pile of bits but point well made unproven ... - why do you think im encouraging other people to buy them?
