Hobnobs
Ribo's seem to be the pick of the day/year.
JT!
Ribo's seem to be the pick of the day/year. Shame you can't get them over sise 10 though. I'm sise 10 and a half, and i have the biggest ribbos you can get. And they arn't exactly big on me.
Luke Drewery
I had the same dilemma a couple of weeks ago, see my topic here I ended up going for the try-alls because they are the only shoes that go up to my size. I have ordered them but have to wait until this Friday to get them... :)

Waynio
it depends what cranks you use too.i find that tensiles (the ones with the grooves in) tend to rip shoes to bits. but my "Try-Me's" are wikid. i just like the looks of them more than owt.and you get wed laces.(Try-All shoes weally) its a bit like anything though, there ar epro's and cons to all shoes and parts etc etc. its just what you get used to and such forth. Waynio.....................

Waynio
all sohes will wear out eventually but if you have a local cobblers you can take them in and get them re-soled for around £15-25. and you can even pick your own sole (Y) oh my god!!!!! how kool???? Waynio.................... iv never had a problem with my try-all boots and didnt have with some old monty boots i got off some one it was jus the looks side of the try all boots that makes me get them really. oh and im supported by try-all too :( but still iv found them to be the more comfortable shoe for me personally to wear. Technical Tom
I brought some Try-All ones about maybe 2 months ago and i can't ride without them any more. They give you amazing grip on the peddles and because the bottoms of the shoes are so thick so feet feel really stable whilst riding, but i have already started ripping the bottoms of them with my peddles, but they have got a lot of life yet (Y) Cheers, Tom Edited November 8, 2005 by onza_tom123

danny B
hey guys i didn't spell ribo wrong someone else logged on as me at work (N) so 'll answer all of what you need to know bout the shoes. Yes the shoes are still available as i am the importer and we have all sizes in stock from 38 - 45. there is now no red or blue the silver ones are the new colour,(Waitin for me site to get updated <_< ) This morning i have sent an e-mail to ribo asking if i can get a 46 and a 47 in these shoes for you larger footed people which i can't see being a problem if there is a big enough order for these sizes of shoe i will just have to know in advance. Hope that clears a few things up for you lot :) (Y) cheers danny
TrashZen
Monty's are the only one I 've tried, but offer excellent ankle protection (N) , fantastic grip and will last ages (they are all tough real leather stuff, got mine for over 2 years now, <_< ok maybe I should look for a new pair)
