Phatmike
Oh god, a gold BB - what's the point. Gold axles? Hmm, really visable. RaceFace Signature DH bb's suck, I managed to kill mine in a matter of weeks, same goes for the FSA. The only ISIS bb which has lasted me (my current one's going on for 1 1/2 years), is the Truvativ Gigapipe DH. http://www.allterraincycles.co.uk/product.php?pid=101008 http://www.leisurelakesbikes.com/ProductDe...ategoryID/45/v/ Seriously, don't spend more money, or sacrafice having a worse bottom bracket for the sake of it being gold! Truvativ. >_< Mike. (Y)

Mark W
FSA Platinum Pro or Truvativ Gigapipe, basically. Both come in 128mm, and both seem to work OK. I *hate* the BB-remover tabs on the Truvativ, but there we go. Either way, I wouldn't worry too much about having a coloured BB. There's generally a lot of frame/crank/feet/legs/stuff in the way preventing you from seeing the part itself, so don't worry about that too much. dwarrick
not sure if they are coloured but how are the try-all BB's for strenght?
JT!
The amount of 127/8mm bb's you get to choose from at the mo is pathetic anyway. And when you get your bb though the post chances are it's not the same colour as you expected. So forget about colour. :) Like said above your not going to see it anyway. mink
Compactable with Front freehweel Does that mean it'll break if you use ffw?
Luke Drewery
Oh god, a gold BB - what's the point. :P Gold axles? Hmm, really visable. Truvativ. :P Mike. :P I second that, bb's are one of those boring parts that it doesnt really matter about how they look, as long as they perform well. I run the same as Fatmike (Truvatic gigapipe dh 128mm) and I have had mine for over 6 months with no problems. The only downside is that its heavy. :)
ian
ive used a few different bb's and havent ofund a decent one yet, except one that osunds promising. i cant remeber the name of it but we are able to get it at work and its like 130 quid and is garanteed for life so like if you snap it it will be replaced etc. yeah i know it sounds dear but think of all the bb's you will go through in trials. ive used the FSA platinum and snapped the bearing cassing used a expensive race face bb and snapped that. and the only one that was good for square taper was a good old un52
