Tony Harrison
Sameer has a BMX, so he might find it more fun than you. Bear in mind that with a BMX you can have hours of fun on just a 1 foot high ledge. The variations and possibilities are simply endless... Sameer
Please remember if you go down your not allowed pegs. Someone got kicked of for using them on the weekend. Are you serious? Screw it, it's not like I'm going up there anytime soon anyway.
totaltrials
Please remember if you go down your not allowed pegs. Someone got kicked of for using them on the weekend. HAHAHA, that's quite funny, why didn't they just put a massive pile of mud shaped into humps, what's the point, does it not even have copings. Realy really funny that is. Phil. Si-man
No pegs, are the thick or something :) Was thinking of going there but not until they allow pegs, stupid wankers
guineasmithpig
No pegs, are the thick or something :) Was thinking of going there but not until they allow pegs, stupid wankers i maybe wrong, but i don't think they've fitted all the coping (well, angle iron anyways) so grinding some of the ledges will wreck the concrete. if any o the locals could keep us posted on this, would be good. i'll re-post when i know more. as far as i gather, its awesome. especially for people who live close! not so many kickers n stuff, but good for a days worth o riding. my mates (BMX/skaters) have been goin there all weekend every week since it opened! and evenings, as its fully flood lit. smithy
Tony Harrison
Are you guys are aware that there's more to do on a BMX than grinding? Looking at the photos of that place I think you could have a good few hours fun without missing your pegs.
Sameer
Yeah man, but why not extend that few hours to a few plus one hours when you can have pegs on? Obviously that place is insane regardless, and I can just see so many things to do there just by looking at one picture, but not permitting pegs is taking a step closer to American BMX-banning. Surely skaters grind there anyway? Ah whatever. Again, not like I'm going up there anytime soon.
Si-man
I'm not having ago about pegs it's just some people prefere grinding ledges, coping etc to riding a ramp, and some people might want to learn how to grind (like myself)
bob
is it fair from the station ? hobbsie
i_rule_the_world
train station is about 20mins there 15misn back. i live next to station pretty much from station. all that shit about pegs, you CAN use them. there is just one short arse 40year old looking skater guy who doesnt like em. all the ledges have a replaceable metal edging. my mate had this guy have a go at him in the bowl where there is a 1.5inch metal rail all the way round designed for abuse, the other skaters told him to shut up and stop actin like he owned the place. it is very possible to make endless lines in that place, but from a trials point of view it is crap. if you like to mix things up and do a bit of park / proper street the place is heaven. Dr. Nick Riviera
i think the no pegs thing is untill all the coping is fitted

i_rule_the_world
right the sign does say no pegs now they put it up. only 1 guy there cares about it, all the rest of the skaters dont seem to care. there is big mutual respect down there for all diff sports/skill levels, so that puts the peg rule out the window really.
