Hobnobs
Basically, they look pretty similar to the echo teams in geometry, except with a slightly higher BB. This should mean that the back end flicks out more and you have more clearance. Theyre cheap, good looking, and should really be a great frame choice. Oh, and they probably have the renowned deng strength.

RicH_87
http://tartybikes.co.uk/products.php?product=frames it's all on there, (7th one down).
Mark W
The geometry's pretty much identical to my Zip, 'cept I've got a 10mm longer front end. Other than that, stay-length and BB rise are the same. My Zip feels awesome, so I don't know why the GU one wouldn't...
AdamR28
Cheers Rich. Weight is actually 1.811kg/3.99lbs, but not had chance to update the site yet! Adam
Synergy
might go for the zip now you mention it as it has a bash plate does it not? ifnot possibly 05 python.
Mark W
might go for the zip now you mention it as it has a bash plate does it not? ifnot possibly 05 python. Unless you zip-tie the bash on, you're not going to have any luck with an '05 Python unless you can find the Yao Zhi Python somewhere? Just looked on Tartybikes. My bad :- To be honest, I'd rather go for the Zip just for the extra BB rise and cockpit-room, really. It's made all the difference to my riding, despite the fact I used to be a short bike afficianado. But yeah, Zip all the way unless you wanna get the GU... Mark W
I don't really get why you're wanting to keep a bashplate on so much, unless you're running FFW and can't fit a bashring on there... Anyhoo, in that case, go for the Zip then if you want a longer bike with a bashplate.

Mark W
What cranks are you running? If you've got a long BB you may be able to fit a bash in. I know it's an extra £20, but I'd rather pay another £20 and get a frame that I think I'd like the ride of that one which I wasn't so sure about. However, the Zip's pretty similar so it might be worth a look in...
Synergy
onza muscle man cranks, im lost £20 extra for what frame?
Mark W
£20 extra for a bashring, sorry. I just meant you'd have to add £20 to get a bashring to use a bash-less frame...
Synergy
ok so what else would i need? to make it run a basring?
Mark W
If you can go and measure the distance between your freewheel and the end of the main body of the BB, I can tell you :-
Synergy
lol ill have to do it later im at work, all i can say its a t-master frame don't know if thats any use.
Mark W
Nah, that's fairly inconsequential. The reason I ask is that it depends how stretched the tapers are on your cranks. If they've been over-tightened onto the spindle, they'll stretch out and leave you will less clearance between BB and freewheel. If the gap is under 4mm, you won't be able to get a bashring on there.
