spode@thinkbikes
If I was really pushed to make a decision... I'd have to say.. me. Loving oneself is the start of a life-long relationship, no? But seriously. I quite like Ryan Leech's Manifesto, it's a nice video. Although I do think his "no correction hops" technique means that some moves look rushed and they might look a little better if he just took his time. I don't really watch a lot of riders, I've never been one for hero worship, I just like to get out there and ride. But your suggestions are interesting, I might have to look up some videos of some of these guys.

Tony Harrison
Hans Rey for inspiring me, and making me want to do 'tricks and stunts' in the first place. The Martins for making it cool, for doing videos and articles that made me want to ride, and Martyn for producing trials frames that (for me) are perfect to ride. Akrigg, simply because he is a true biking master. Trials, bmx, dirt, comps, natural, whatever - he rules. Simple as that. If I could have the abilities of any one rider, I would have his.
