haha gotta love the comments

"wow dude how is the possible i have a hard time walking a straight line let alone riding a bike on a rail road track"

hahahaha! well the riding was pretty good, some interesting lines and nice combo of downhill and trials going on. For some reason though, he never impresses me that much, i know what i'm seeing is amazing but it's just kinda like *no effect*.

That's also in the "History" section of Manifesto, I believe. Seem to remember seeing it before on one of my Leech DVD's, anyway - I'm pretty sure it's Manifesto not "Mastering the art of trials" though...

Yeah, I agree with Mr. Rich (no f**kin' way!). His riding's cool, but it sorta... doesn't really seem all that good, almost? I think it's possibly 'cos he's doing all these no-hopping things, so it's sorta smooth on the one hand, but he doesn't ride smoothly, almost? Like Vincent Hermance, for example (or Kenny Belaey I guess, or any of the top comp riders) seem to "ride light" as it were. They're sorta pretty fluid whilst riding, and don't seem to do stuff in a harsh way, almost. But Leech also seems to land stuff a lot harder? All those two wheeled 90 degree hops and stuff (Jonny Jones does them a lot in his vids) just sorta make it look forced kinda. I dunno, it's weird. Just doesn't hit my trials spot, I suppose...

Yeah, ive seen the trialmedia video of Tim Pratt, the tree thing was insane! :) :-

I'll always love that section from K5 - riding is wicked, original in places and the editing on the bit wheres hes riding that curved rail/art piece is wicked.

Nice find.

Jonny.

is it me or is ryan leech overrated?

:)

Depends what you are looking for in a rider. Sure there are some riders that can do huge caps and sidehops etc, but don't have much else to them. I think Ryan has some interesting lines and some of the stuff he pulls off, it looks like he's going to fail any moment. I think his "no hops" idea makes it look untidy. But it's still impressive.

180's across train tracks is one of my favourite tricks to do :P

And thats an old video!! (Y)

He has so much balance and talent in trials its unbelievable, loads of manifesto going on there!!!

The best bit for me was the 90 to 180 to 180 on that log! Seems impossible. How does he jump so easily and look at the bike he's riding!!!

i think some people need to go out and buy manifeto just to understand all about the guy. This video really doesnt do him justice. Im not in to street, suspensiony trials but he really does represent it well. Anyone see the old shakey fence line in manifesto? it was like on some deserted farm land.. was crazy how wobbley that thing was. Also some of his 180 gap downs were mental. Definitely worth the buy
