I think I should read a book. She does, and maybe I might.

Whats the BEST book that you have ever read? I could do with something half dece to read, the only books that I've started to read have just bored me so much, for example, I only read half the first Harry Potter when it came out and then just got bored, it was tripe.

So, the best book ever, wanted please :D

Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy! its a must read (is you like it, read the rest of the series)

Also pretty much anything by Bill bryson is funny. A Short History Of Nearly Everythign is interesting, although somehting like Notes From a Small Island you may find boring.

Robert Rankin is also hilarious, but you have to like the genre. Ive only read The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of The Apocolypse, and yes it is as mad as it sound, but i really couldnt put it down, literally! read it on holiday in one day lol!

glad you like it

hahahahaha. funny. (Y)

i've read loads of books, did english lit up to a-level you see, so it comes with the terratory.

however probably one of the best books i read was The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, that was waaaaaaaaay back when i was like 8, so maybe i remember it better than it was.

Adrian Mole's diary was good (think i read both or all 3, however many there is) but again that was when i was little.

Can't think of any 'cool' books though, could always grab a copy of 'The Hungry Catapiller'

ooo, just remembers, Lord of the flies was a badass book.

Classic book, best Quote "Hot enough to boil a Fox."

I don't know, I'd love to read more, but I just don't know a decent book from an average book. I read the usual 'guy books', 1984, Catch 22, Da Vinci Code, etc, but have real trouble find books I like.

Last book I read was Digital Fortress, which was good, but exactly the same a Deception point, with new names, same twist, and different events. Dan Brown is good, but it's definately a case of 'read one, read them all'.

I6t depemnds what you want, if you want the usual escapism tripe, read Dan Brown, Stephen King etc however if you want an interesting and rewarding read, read something like the lord of the rings, catch 22, 1984, animal farm, all the classics.

If you have watched Top Gear and like it, get as many Jeremy Clarkson books as possible all are very very funny.

Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown is what i'm reading at the moment. It is very very good.

Robert Ludlum, writer of the Bourne series that they made into movies ie Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy is very good. One of my favourite authors.

Michael Crichton who wrote Jurassic Park and the Lost World is good and those two books I especially enjoyed. You should enjoy them if you watched the films.

Most riders enjoy Lance Armstrong books. His autobiography "its not about the bike" is an amazing read some real insiring stuff.

Hope that gives you some ideas.

Biggles learns to fly. Always love a classic

I had the Biggles Omnibus haha  brill books they are. I'm more into war stuff. Stephen E. Ambrose who wrote Band Of Brothers (The mini series that was on BBC2 a few years back), amazing read because everything is based on a true story from the company's point of view. Watching that is truely emotional haha, But yeah even the theme tune gives me shivers when I hear it .
