ollie
I was just wondering how long it would take to bed in my louise? And if it matters its on my new t-mag, thanks adam and dave! any help apreciated, Ollie
random
The more you the more it'll work and bed in. If you get it wet and bome along and then stoppie it it can get it working faster..but you'll be better off draggging it along as you ride and down big hills
downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
Mine was amazing from the second i put it on, just AMAZING power! But if yours just slides along, just go along fast and do some big stoppies (or try) then pour water all over the rotor and caliper and repeat. watch out cause the brake will become VERY sharp! lol as i found out :D :P :D
Simpson
in our area theres a huge hill called bread an cheese that we have to ride down on way back from school, just drag the brake all the way down and the break will be nearly fully bed in

ollie
thanks guys! it works well btw but i herd that they get even better after a while, i just wondered how long this would be. thanks ollie p.s whats does putting water on it do? Simpson
(my reason, through guessing) is that it causes a layer in between brake pad and rotar and it causes a cushion in between the two so it doesnt lock it runs and is able to get to a higher temprature before locking and so will bed in faster

bridgyisgay
mine bedded in properly after a couple of days, but i rode whilst dragging it which helped i think, it was so powerful but its calmed down a bit now, still scarily powerful though (Y)
poopipe
I've had the same brake for a few months now, when I first got it it was a bit poo and everyone told me to ride down hills and blip the brake on and off. I did that for few days and it started to work quite well. I read somewhere that holding the brake halfway on and riding down hills for too long can cause the pads to glaze over which makes them cack so i tried to avoid that. True (ish) If you put too much water on, when it isnt very hot, then it can glaze the pads, but this means LOADS of water and letting it set on the pads without evapourating. The water cleans all the shit off the pads and rotor when your pull the brake, making it ALOt more grabby at first, but once bedded in properly, when you get loads of water on, it was down the performance intill its dry again  (mine does anyways)
