Personally I like tuna and can eat it out the can easily, but chicken is roughly a similar price if you buy non super market. For example a tin of tuna is about £1 and I get chicken off muscle food for £25 for 5kg, which is about 20-25 fillets. Then each fillet is about a pound and per fillet you get 44g of protein.

But for convenience there's nothing like tuna or a shake.

pretty nice

what's your bodywheight?

I did 135kg for two reps a while ago

and I was around 73kg bodywheight

but deadlifts are killing my lower back so now I go a lot lighter

I do love backsquat

did 130 kg but it wasn't a super deep squat

on super deep I m around 100kg a the moment

90kg on frontsquat

and I did some power snatch today

nailed 50kg wich is ALOT for me

(Im 77kg now)

I cannot squat for shit, currently sat inbetween sets doing 4x10 at 105kg. This is really gonna hurt tomorrow!

Surprising really as I've got big legs!

I can't bring myself to mail order meat haha.

My tins of tuna are 68p each though and often on special offer at 59p. Where are you getting your tuna from lol?

I live opposite a Lidl so can get acceptable quality stuff super cheap. :)

Why not its really good! I think its 75p at my local asda for their own brand but a bit more elsewhere bar lidl and aldi.

Because you have to buy in bulk, I'd rather buy from across the road when I need it rather than risk it not turning up, or being late, or going off in the post or whatever.

Plus it just weirds me out a bit. Dunno why.

Yeah don't fret about ordering from Musclefood / Westingormet or any popular store of that kind, their food is much higher quality than the supermarkets and more than likely arrives at your door fresher than when you pick it off the shelf in Tesco.

I bought 20 rump steaks from muscle food a week ago (couldn't use refer code on top of deal, sorry Dave :P ) and they are equivalent to a steak nearer £8 from the supermarket, which I got for £2 each.

4x10 at 105kg is quite a lot

when I do heavy lifts, I don't do long reps

you may just not feel comforatble doing it, but you just have to practice the mouvement

maybe with lighter weight

I know lots of people don't have the mobility in their legs at first

lunges are f**king brutal aswell

I thought I'd struggle riding to work this morning but it'd do me good to stretch them out, turned out I felt I had more energy and my legs didn't seem as tired as normal. Can see tomorrow being a struggle though!

My cousin is a personal trainer and bodybuilder at a pretty decent gym in one of the well off parts of Manchester so getting some tips and a diet plan off him in the next few weeks which should help.

It's always two days, I get that really badly in my chest. First day feeling good, little bit achey when stretching. Second day, flexibility = zero, pain = MAXIMUM!

I'm the same as you, started 5 weeks ago and the next day i'm fine like today then the day after that it's just a write off lol
