chris222pher
hi people i am looking at getting a 04 echo team as a bike to get me back into trials and wondered if it would be any good as a begginers bike and what peoples opinions are. i have heard problems about being a bit long but i am quite tall so that doesnt bother me. i have also head the the frame is quite soft so not great for learning on (gonna be making lots of mistakes) but i would like to know peoples experiecens with them and their opinions on strength and ride. cheers chris sorry got confused between echo and monty and cant work out how to change title :( Edited November 1, 2005 by chris222pher
Hobnobs
Monty team? As far as i know it doesnt exist. Theres the echo team, which is a good frame, to be honest though, when you are learning, anything which is really trials specific (ie, onza, koxx, monty, echo zoo etc) will be good. Monty's are light and fairly strong, as long as you run a monty hub.

Siders77
If you edit your post again at the top there should be a place to edit the topic title. :(
deonn trials 55
I think the echo would be a great starter bike if your willing to pay that much for a starter bike.I would suggest getting a second hand bike to start off with e.g Koxx level boss ,onza t-pro,echo team,.But just have a look on forsale/wanted list on this forum and see what you can find or take a look on ebay.My friend picked up a koxx levelboss for £400 and it was in near new condition. Thanks Deonn

Jules
There nice bikes and im sure they will be great to learn on, but you could try finding something a bit cheaper, although if your not bothered about spending lots then go for it. A t-pro would be a good beginners bike, only 419 as well.
