yo oggy,

you can rpelace the lid or keep riding it, i rode a giro i crashed for a further couple of months, all that happens as you have noticed with helmets is the foam compresses therefore if you have a similar incident again it wont take the impact to its full potential. as it has already taken a clattering.

BUT if you send it back to "Madison" the uk importer of Giro and put a note in and c/c details they will do you an animas at £35.00 OR if you wish to upgrade to a E"/Xen they will do a good price on those for you.

the crash replacement scheme can only be done direct with the customer there is no point you taking it back to your LBS they cant do anything about it apart form look at it and say "well you made a good job of that, what did you crash out on?" hehe

Waynio........................

Warranty on a helmet????? YES there is if i cracks and is a "defect" BUT the lad has stated he has crashed which is how most helmets end up broken.............therefore the crash replacement scheme comes in pretty good if you ask me, its better than a kick in the nuts!!!!
