kick-this Posted October 30, 2005 Report Share Posted October 30, 2005 (edited) Hey, got my disk the other day "avid bb7" 185mm Just got it mounted and one of the pads starts rubbing when i look down the pad on the outer side of the forks is very slightly leaning towards the disk, and when i ride all i can hear is the brake rubbing on the disk any suggestions ?? Houseface Posted October 30, 2005 Report Share Posted October 30, 2005 i think ive heard on this disk brake you can alter a bolt on the side to move the pads. might be right,i dont know,see what the other members say, but check for the bolts,and see if it is there. steve. Siders77 Posted October 31, 2005 Report Share Posted October 31, 2005 (edited) Have you tried loosening the bolts for the caliper to the post mount adaptor, then squeezing the lever? It should centre the pads a little better, and it might help push that one back into it's place? Mark Onzaboymark on Lee's account.
