kick-this
I've never done one, I want to though Does anyone know where i can get videos of easy courses? Dave... (Y)
Ali C
I entered my first comp after about a months of riding (back in 99) I just had a standard xc bike, no trials mods to it at all. I was really crap, I couldnt trackstand, backhop or anything. I entered novice and came 13th at my fist comp. Going to them really helps you to improve, at the end of the season, I was comming in the top 5 and ended up 3rd overall, I was well chuffed. so dont worry about how good you are, just go and enter them anyway, you will get better faster. MattB
if you try biketrials.com they have a beginner section but it is an american one. The best way to see is to go and watch a competition because then you see what the kind of course you'll be riding look like.

Martin
How do you sign up for a trials comp? Where are they held? Dave... depends where you live, i go to hampshire bike trials club (HBTC) you could check www.biketrialsuk.co.uk, i think it is this but it is the bike trial union site, it has all of the clubs in england, includes contacts. when i started comps i didn't do to well but this is my second year and im in intermediate now and im in 2nd, you rapidly improve if you keep at it (Y)

cvtrial
Dunno.. I've tried to talk with our so called "trainer" about it, but I don't think it works! But, I won't have any trainer, I'm training myself! (Y)
Sam Oliver
Have just had a look at your club pictures looks like you have a bit of a following judging by the spectators. Im sure if someone organised a comp it would be the start of many. (good luck) (Y) Ps looks nice were you live.
