Mark W
Internet Explorer :) To be honest, IE works fine for me. I've got some firewalls on the go, and now NIS is setup fully it's doing well, so I don't really find there's any problem. 'cept all the "Firefox vs. Opera" battles 'n' stuff I can't take part in. Oh the tragedy (Y)
Smo™
There's a thread on here somewhere about tweaking your FireFox, have a look for it. Should help you out a treat. So far my FF has been awesome, plenty faster than IE and like 5% of the security risks.
Shaun H
Works for some, doesn't for others... Personally I prefer Firefox although if people were honest there's no real difference other than FF looks a bit snazzier. EDIT: Although it does make a big difference in the pop-up blockingness, FF is superb at that A friend of mine had real pop-up problems until i sorted FF for her and they pretty much stopped... Mark W
But Danny, more windows = more fun? Oh yeah, and 'cos I'm a lazy fag and can't be arsed to PM you, you need to go into NMC and validate the guy asking about Echo rims (Y) "First time poster long time reader" is at the start of his post :)
Shaun H
But Danny, more windows = more fun? I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not but if you aren't you do know you can use windows *or* tabs with FF EDIT: Having now written it I realise you probably were being sarcastic but oh well... Dai the Socket
Internet explorer doesn't read code right. And doesn't have tabs. It's stupid. It doesn't even show png transparence properly for f**k's sake. Firefox is the best option, if Safari isn't available (Y)

Trebor
It's stupid. It doesn't even show png transparence properly for f**k's sake. Yeah, how annoying is that?!?! I even wrote to the Firefox peeps to complain about that one, didn't even get a responce - arseholes. My whole internet experience was ruined by that :) Mat Huds, do the search for the Firefox topic and you'll find some stuff which is super easy to sort out in Firefox which will make your page loading times on Forumy sites alot quicker. Plus you can get loads of snazzy skins for Firefox too (Y)
Will Arnold
i use the bt yahoo broadband browser, how cool am I? B) YOU CAN USE TABS WITH IT AND EVERYTHING :D (whoops caps (Y) )
spode@thinkbikes
I find it a little slower to actually LOAD. But once it's up and running it's great. My laptop struggles with it a little, but it's only an 866MHz P3...

Tomm
I can't see any disadvantages to be honest. Tabbed browsing, extensions, lots of themes, more secure etc. It's just good. IE is just uncustomisable, unsecure and uninteresting.

Alexx
I can't see any disadvantages to be honest. Tabbed browsing, extensions, lots of themes, more secure etc. prettymuch (Y) If you prefer IE, use it, it's not really a huge difference for your average users to be honest. munkee
I use firefox basically for the addons, the weather cast one is just f**king useful. Tabbing browsing is good but can be annoying when you accidently click close on the whole window and lose all your tabs (Y)

Tabbing browsing is good but can be annoying when you accidently click close on the whole window and lose all your tabs (Y) you can turn on a warning so that if you try and close a big window it warns you about closing all the tabs. click tools and options, and it's near the bottom of the advanced tab.
