righty, i have cracked the end of my onza carbon risers, still rideable, but i wish to know what people reccomend before i change them. I love the feel of my onza bars, but a change could be good. i use the 27" carbons, will i make it harder going with the zoo's.

anyway just give general opinions. you dont have to have used both, just ur general opinion/why you use that bar.

I'm using my Onza carbons pretty much for the reasons you posted. They just feel great, basically. I've got the 28" ones, but some stock riders seem to prefer the shoulder-breaking 30" wide ones. Might be worth a look I guess.

Apparently, they ZOO! bars feel more like flat bars, but I haven't tried them to confirm that...

i love my onza's yet i love my friends zoo!'s

the onza feel nice no doubt ,

but the zoos are obviosly wider the one thing i dont like about the zoos is my hands dont feel like there on the bars properly im weird i know ;)

but id go for the onzas and if you want wider then obviosly you could go with the 30"'s

onza onza onza onza ;)

They both feel awsome and are both strong as f**k. I would say the onza's look nicer. If you had onza's before I would try the wide ones out. I wish I had bought the wider ones. Price wise the onza's are more expensive but they are brining them out in an alloy bar so they will be the same shape but cheaper.

Both are great, however Im not sure the carbons are worth the extra (even though I run carbon risers myself). Also, I find my onza carbon risers a bit low- they have EXACTLY the same rise as the onza carbon flat bars I had previously, and personally I prefer higher rise bars, but on a lower stem, as it feels better IMO, and gives slightly more clearance to move around the cockpit.

However, if you can get the onzas cheap under warranty, you would be silly not to get them.

Ive never ever cracked a set of 30" onza carbon risers :o honest :D .....................

After cracking a set of 30" beast bars i started to hear about alot of cracking stories >> "oh guess whos cracked there bars too" this obviously made me think the bars werent as strong as i once thought. so i was after change.

I love the feel of the 30", but Ben (aka hulltrialser) has em on his steed and they've always felt better, so as a result i opted for zoo's. although i lost an inch of leverage over my previus bars they feel OUTSTANDING. for sure the best bars ive used.

plus Mr scott said in sheff before that hed never cracked or bent any zoo bars. which ui now believe. :D

Trav righto.

the Zoos are wider = meaning more leverage = meaning more control and more pasties!

the Zoos are comfyer = meaning your girly wrists wont hurt :P :D (Y)

all in all Zoos rule!! B)

I have had both the onza carbon bars and currently have the zoos.

The zoos feel far better to me, they are an inch wider than before and my front wheel control has instantly improved its amazing!

They just feel nicer and more trialsy, I don't know about strength because I never had a problem with the onzas but from what I hear the zoos are better.

Main point to finish, the zoos are cheaper!!!

Cheers

Benny Boi, listen to me the master... this is some vaulable information coming up :D :P

Go for the BAD BOY 30" Onza's... they kick big hairy bums - they feel better than the Zoo's and you already know how the Onza's feel, so just imagine them in a bigger scale, mmmmmm now that sounds noice!!! (Y) You know what they say about bigger things Ben :D

Also if you do get a crash replacement on the bars, that = a cheapooooo pair of bars... SCORE!!! (Y)

What more can I say :D

Zoo! - Stronger than the silly 30'' uns. Slightly heavier. Still a nice shape. More rise? More up sweep. A little more back sweep, but went tilted forwards, still less than any flat bars. New funky colours.

The thing is with the Onza Carbon Risers is that even though carbon fibre doesnt fatigue, then still somehow manage to crack ( cultivated matt, adam@tartybikes, damon).

Either go for the Zoo! bars or go for the origanl and best; Pazzaz Carbon Fibre Risers 28''. More rise than the Onza uns, about the same as Zoo!.
