cookie456_the2nd
If your buying off ebay, make sure you buy something from a seller with good feedback. Make sure you collect it if you can so that you can check it over. They may say its new etc but allways check for things like cracks in the usuall suspect areas. I take it you ride a 26" Koxx then. Nothing to be ashamed of! ;)
kb_trialer
i bought my bike of ebay (20" t-pro 03) and the description said it was in great condition but when i got it there were parts missing from it. all together it cost me £35 to fix it but it was worth it now! keith

Mc Lovin
You can get some real bargains off ebay, But then theres people who make a living ripping people off on ebay. Email them and ask for quite a few pic's of it and ask why there selling it. It's a gamble really though. ;)
Zoo_Monkey
some shops on eBay are great like mark-Anthony bikes direct (actually the same place as trials shop) planet x have an eBay shop where they get rid of old stock bike-dock sell on eBay, again old stock if its an individual seller then follow the above advice ie ask lots of questions and get lost of pics especially: -the BB area -the rear wheel/brake bosses/axle -the head tube
Jonny Shoe
Like many people say some bikes are absolute rip offs on ebay and others are bargains. Just read the sellers feedback comments and see how many items he has sold on ebay before.

FLATOUTSTYLE
Nowt wrong wid ebay, long as you aint buying from kong kong or sumet. READ every word on the page, if it seems kool then go for it, you can save £'s and £'s on there sometimes. Ask plenty of questions and see if they reply also. Sometimes gives an idea what they are like as sellers etc.....Read all the feedbacks too from people who have bought similar stuff...If they says they r shite then look elsewhere..I buy all kinds and never had a problem..I also sell too Heres my Dj stands; http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZblackcapjdmQQhtZ-

(Y) I see you are making a fair bit of bob too. I bought a go-ped off ebay a year ago and it came in very good condition and quickly, but as i said earlier its a gamble, the best thing to you can do (as most people have said) is to read the feedback, look what he is selling other than that, email the seller and get as much info as possible. craigjames
ebay is fine for buying anything as long as your careful. obviously check the feedback of the seller, if you can contact any previous buyers to see how they thought the service was and ask lots of questions regarding the thing you want to buy; a genuine seller will be more than happy to answer any questions where as someone a bit dodgy will either not know what there talking about or wont answer!! i bought a brand new saracen team trials bike off of ebay in the summer, is was in perfect condition, with all of the parts not assembled (peddles etc) in the sealed plastic bags they should ahve been in. The bloke i bought it off was quick and happy to answer any questions, the bike was quickly delivered and it only cost £300!! so generally ask any questions u think u need the info on even if they are obscure, especially if what your looking at is second hand, and if it looks too good to be true it usually is. if you get thte opportunity to go and see the item before bidding ends make sure u take it and pay via paypal and keep details of anything you do buy to make sure if something is wrong you may be able to sort it out. hope this helps (Y)
