Barbra
well ive seen on many vids guys wearing koxx trousers and they look shexy, and was thinking about buying some, but where the hell can i buy them from? :- oh and someone told me that you HAVE to bleed magura disc breaks with the correct fluid, i can't see how this can be right, because if you can bleed the rim break with water you should be able to do the same with a disc right? cheers, nath

And I think it's something to do with the seals/pistons in Discs that means you can't bleed them with what ever fluid you want?
dave85
Discs can get hot enough to boil water, thats all. For trials, water is fine.
Barbra
so i can use water in a disk? or will it boil?
dave85
You have to get it seriously hot to boil it (100 degrees funnily enough :-), unless you think you'll be hammering down the alps sometime soon, it'll be fine.

Mark W
..although saying that, make sure you put anti-freeze in it. I didn't have it in my Maguras last winter, and they froze several times. Thing with the HS33s though is that 'cos my pads were set far from the rim, there was some room for water expansion (the pads just pushed in). In that disc pads are set a lot closer to the rotor, you might have to watch out for raping stuff?

Mark W
Hmm. Bit of price fiddling going on there? In that they're charging VAT for helmets, which are VAT-free? Hmm. Either way, I quite like the look of some of their stuff, it's just that I'm not sure I'd want "KOXX" written down my arm :- The "Link" one was being worn by Koxx' pro flatlander at KOC, and it looked real good...
