If you want to compare the word and a really wide definition....OK. If you actually want to compare details.......no. Quotes don't make something so, facts do. Tim/Trialsin USA
The point I was making was not whether Echo used that technology now or not. Please re-read the responce. The statement was that Echo had done it for years, that is the incorrect portion. Unless, of course, anything under 2 years is considers "for years"....then we need to agree upon what version of english interpretation you are using. AdamR28
Didn't the 2004 Controls and Pures have the funky octagonal downtube? Such as these: http://le-trial.com/echo.htmEither way, Koxx have taken it further than before.

Such as these: http://le-trial.com/echo.htmEither way, Koxx have taken it further than before.Yes, they did have funky shaped down tubes in 2004. However, the shape of a tube does not necessarily translate to the same type of technology they are using for new Koxx frames. Drawn, CNC'd, forged or whatever...those terms have been used with great elasticity for many decades....currenty use of those methods is quite different (more advanced as you point out Adam) than previously. Token
looks like a slightly more trialsy appollo design to me That describes them perfectly, the mod looks like a cheaper version of the old T-pro with a seat tube and an equally disgusting paint job. They'd look great if the paint wasn't retro 80's.
