Houseface
hey guys, i brought a try-all gold rim recenlty and i have realized that it has paint on the braking surface as i am not running a disk, will this matter or will the paint come off over time/use? im going to be running zoo pads on it. steve. Siders77
The anodising will eventually some off.
Mark W
Mine seemed to make my brake worse 'til I wore through it partially. Of course, grinding it made it all good
wardie
I would of though the pads would wear it away pretty quick but a grind would do the trick straight away. sam
Houseface
so it will be bad until the paints wears through? steve.
MrsMonkey
If I bought an anodised rim and there was paint allover it when I got it I would be sending it back. x Dani x

MrsMonkey
Just get a bit of sand paper and take it off. It shouldn't take you very long.
Mark W
Just get a bit of sand paper and take it off. It shouldn't take you very long. Word. I'm not sure it's even properly anodised though? It all came off mine after about 2 days riding. Might be a really shallow anodised finish or something (Y)
Simpson
try glass paper its thinner than the ordinary sand paper and so is thinner and less harsh if i am corrct if not just use some bitch hard pads such as the original maguras or zoo browns
lankyri
zoo browns a simp never seen them before (Y) i know people will disagree with me on this but zoo pads are rubbish in my opinion they fall apart so they should be brown the colour of crap lol sorry if this makes people mad
