TomN
It's kind of like a normal gap but you just lean forward whilst gapping like.

Mr Motivator
It's just like gapping normaly but you have to move your body as if your going to jump over the bars and then push the front wheel down and forwards. For ups to front wheel, rolling wheelie hop (to get some momentum) and land with your front wheel about 6-12" away from the lip, then with a powerfull kick jump up and lift your bike up horrizontaly and forward. Try to lift the backwheel up as much as posible so that when you land on the top of the lip with your front wheel you will be at peak endo and can then wheelswap to backwheel. N.Wood
Sidehopping up to front wheel then gradually moving the angle around to 90 degrees to the wall may help. Think commitment, boyo.

Tomm
Sidehopping up to front wheel then gradually moving the angle around to 90 degrees to the wall may help. Think commitment, boyo. I don't really go with that - Sidehops don't need any "forwards" which you obviously do need for gaps. I reckon start by trying to hop from back wheel to front wheel just on the ground. When you can do that nicely, start trying to put a pedal in. Also whilst you're learning I would just try it on flat ground until you get confident. danny B
paving slabs are the way forward and seeing how far that you can get to front wheel just on your patio especially when you are learning it is the fastest and safest way to learn. Backgren
When i gap to front I think it feels alot safer to stand on the edge I'm gapping from, what people sometimes call a pinch gap. Get's me more power forwards.
