I use koxx green at the mo, they are the best pads I have used, mint bite, mint hole, mint in the wetn, mint wear rate.

But the best brake I have tried was with coust pads, the brake just wouldnt move AT ALL!! EVER!!! I was blown away.

I have had a few goes with the blue heatsinks, not greatly impressed really, ace bite, but no holding power.

Plaz crms are prennt neat in the dry, but not in the wet.

This is all using a nice harsh grind btw

I would agree with the coments on the koxx greens, they realy are awsome, i love mine, and every body that has tried my rear brake has been impressed, i have a medium to harsh grind i woud say, no real noticable wear after 3 weeks riding.

to be honest mark my blues are lasting ages on a medium grind ( a shit one but its still quite harsh (Y) )

Seriously Matt, how many times do I have to tell you.

You don't do much stuff involving the back brake, except slowing down. When I use it, I'm using it to stop me whilst gapping, upping, dropping, spinning, feathering it for manuals, etc. I use my back brake a shitload more than you do, and put a lot more force on it. You barely use it at all, and you don't ride that bike as much as I ride my trials bike, so it WILL last longer for you, won't it?

AND you took them off when the grind was fresh 'cos it was wearing them super quick, so don't give me that "They're not wearing too badly". Those Hombre green pads took the sharpness off your grind, then you put these on with what is essentially a super, super light grind on the actual part of the rim you're braking on...

no i didnt, i took the reds off,and put the blues on as the reds were waring very quickley. i took the blues off and put the hombres on for a while becaus i wanted a quiet brake.

i use my brake easily as much as you if not more, i slow down with my brake ( i dont have a front one so i use the back on exclusivley) and use it for modulation more than you do for your on/off power. i sometimes use it for on/off stuff aswell. i usually ride every day, i havnt at the moment as i have a dental absess.

in my experience plaz crms have been the best for me, seem orite in wet too.

but im definatly going to try the try all green when i get new pads as peoples opinions have been so high.

its shame coust pads arent made on powerpad backings as they would be the greatest pad ever

You's would be saying that, because you's are sponcered by heatsink :ermm:

If you ever try the plazmatic pads... you would be amazed B)

Ive tried and tested Plazmatics, and they didnt work well in wet. Thats why ive got Koxx Greens on the rear at the mo', and blues on the front.

Tried the blues on the rear before, and the hold was wank, so i went back to Red koxx bloxx.
