Just put some second hand koxx reds on my bike today and oh my god!!!!! (Y) :P :P

They are insane!!

So much better than browns and a mate bought some new ones so gave me his old ones.

With a new lever, new bleed and new pads I have the perfect working back brake! :)

Heatsink blues for the win!!!

Theyre sick in the front, on a grind, in the wet! Even better in the dry!

As much as I love these pads im afraid you are very wrong, they are great but do not work the tiniest little bit in the wet!!! I think it would be more effective to put butter in backings!

:)

Mine were okay today, in wet, with a fresh grind (Y)

I love my heatsink blues there the best, they dont work at all the wet though maby because ime runnning a extremly light grind?

but in the dry :) there awsome.

(Y)

The grind ive got on the front isnt deep, or sharp. Just sorta ruff. But the do work really ace!

If your Heatsink Blues dont work in the wet, then you are silly.

Performance wise, my X-Hydra's on a harsh-ish grind work really well, however they are wearing like a negro.

Coustellier pads have a good compound but are let down by the backings that my non-existant child could have made.

All my Heatsinks have been mediocre.

Plazzies are awesome.

Maybe i will try Koxx next?

Maybe i will make a useful reply next?

BTW, the long X-Hydra's are called X-Lites

I found crm's to be pretty ba din moisture, and now im finding heatsink blues to do the same :P.

I would use my koxx bloxx but some arsehole has taken em from my room ^_^ .

But theye are both mint in the dry yeah  just very moist near the sea and in blackpool in general lol, so will need to get something with that added bite

You's would be saying that, because you's are sponcered by heatsink

If you ever try the plazmatic pads... you would be amazed ^_^

Konigs: Good bite, shit lever feel (uber soft), shit wear rate.

Blaus: OK bite, bit temperamental, non-existant braking in the wet, wore out in 3 1/2 hours on a not so fresh grind.

X-Hydras: Amazing bite, amazing hold, great wet weather performance, wear rate is a little quick.

Plaz CRMs: Good lock & hold, OK in the wet, great wear rate.

Koxx Greens: Nice bite, nice hold, nice wear rate, work really well in the wet (unless you run a Try-All rim, in which case your grind will die ).

Koolstops: OK, but not the best pads. Wear rate is OK I suppose, but they didn't hold as well as most other rims, and lacked much bite.

Black pads: Shite. End of. Piss poor hold, piss poor lock, piss poor wet weather performance, amazing wear rate 'cos everyone takes them off straight away?

That's about it from me, really...

I loved my old original Heatsink Blues, the good old Batch C pads which were really Baby Blue in color. Those Heatsinks pads were the best for my bike, great lock and hold without tar, it was really squishy and it squirms a bit when dragging, but locks and holds great.

I wish they were still in production
