flower
Where do they sell these d321s? never knew they made quite a wide mavic rim CRC or most online shops. there called a ex 7??. Im not sure but its a disk only rim. But i see that with the use of an angle grinder, disk only, means please grind me. :P In my opinion the STRONGEST rim on the market the a 521 then of corse the cheese rims. And u all know what i mean by that lol.
Tom Booth
there disc only rims, but im sure i read somewhere todge ground the side and it worked well as a rim brake rim aswell. Tom EDIT:Would you look at that, 3 identical answers, at the same time, cool Edited October 20, 2005 by Tom Booth
Ali C
its disk only, BUT you can just squeeze in room for a pad. most places sell them, but I think its called the 721 now?

Todge
I didnt grind the sidewall, used it straight off. It wears my Rimjams rather dodgily, but i put that down to the fact there prototypes. Get a nice hard pad (eg koxx browns) and im sure it will be fine. Imo it does work fooking shite though, my mate did it to his and the wheel is for sale now if anyone wants it off him? the pad makes a U shape around the rim and just slips through, the grind was harsh the pads were new, then tried tar, still crap, all this in the summer aswell. Todge may tell ye different though.

nb88
Why cant mavic made a wide rim brake rim :P i love them, so tough and ace braking surface. ALEX rims are good aswell though.
Caleb
Atomlab are very heavy but pretty strong, if your looking for extra width id reccomend a tioga, or a dx 32 or dm 24 . Both a good compromise between Weight, Strength , and Price. Which are the 3 main factors in trials. In fact Xdream on here is selling a r4ear 26@ 32hole tiohga rim, think its in new condition aswell. Cheap, works well what more could you ask for in a rim?
