merseytrial
The toxsin master in Taiwan has almost finnish the MOD!! but we need to know how many of you guys would buy the frame with or without the bash guard. With > 2.15kg Without > 1.85kg Thanks for your help :$ Adam
rickycoleman
Its quite easy to assume that going for the option without a bash, you would save weight. but you'd still have to get a bash ring which would still add weight, so you'd only be saving a few grams if any, and would end up costing you more as you'd have to fork out on a bashring. so they might aswell produce them with a bash to save time and money..... yoyoyo
I don't mind the extra weight, i'd prefer it than not having the bash in case i catch it there
downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
Most people that already ride mod, have front freewheel, or cranks where you cannot buy a UCI style bash for them, so that means they would have to buy some new cranks ECT to use the frame without the bash, so you might aswell have the bash there. Personally, i would like the bash there, i dont want to fook my chainring/bottom of the frame up!

merseytrial
It would be possible to have an option >> with and without. So please just vote to say what one you would buy rather than what one we should make. This way we can know of the numbers of each to make. Thanks for your help its well appreciated. adam Can I post the picture yet? :$ NO!!! lol the mods would see it advertising. adam
zanneslover
I think with bash. It also then gives the option to remove at a later date. If it comes without bash and mounts for we don't have the option to put one on or not. I know what I mean!
wally
No bash, lighter the better i say. And i have always had trouble with mod bashguards ripping out, and wrecking the frame. :$ Does anyone want to send me the pic? Dan6061
I'd want one with the mounts for the bash, So I can at least have the option to get one and have no problems doing so. I'm not a huge fan of Mod's without bashplates though... :$
will4eva7k
no bash plate mounts would be more preferable in my opinion just use the bash-ring/guard thing like the stock bikes :$
Sponge
If I were to get a Toxsin mod ever, I would want one with a bashplate, as long as the bash mounts are a good strong design such as the ones seen on Onza T-Pros and T-Lites. Not the shoddy types such as the first 2005 T-Mags.

Hobnobs
Mis read the poll, and voted yes. But if you dont put a bash on there ill come beat you with a stick until you ring taiwan and put one on there. Even if i dont want to buy the frame, its still retarded not to have one, there are NO BENEFITS! Another vote for the pic! DangerousDave
Having a bash on a mod is the mod is the only way to go. Having to buy new cranks sucks ass and mods were designed to be used with a bashguard. Plus Echo and friends seem to have flooded the market with mods that dont' have a bashguard. Backgren
Most people that already ride mod, have front freewheel, or cranks where you cannot buy a UCI style bash for them, so that means they would have to buy some new cranks ECT to use the frame without the bash, so you might aswell have the bash there... If you have a FFW set up, you can in most cases just put a bashplate designed for FFW cranks on, such as the echo ones... The only problem you might get is bad clearance between the freewheel/cog and the BB, if you have a narrow BB...
DangerousDave
whats the weight of the new echo mods?
joe b
Bashguard! >_< If they want this frame to be publicised as much as possible. Making it unable to enter major events such as World Championships is going to decrease the chance. Cheers, Joe.
colly
make 2 frames one with a bash and one without, i wouldnt buy without.
IOLO
Most people that already ride mod, have front freewheel, or cranks where you cannot buy a UCI style bash for them, nearly all UCI bash rings, are made for threaded cranks, like people use for front freewheel. or fixed cogs, like tensile,echo,monty,try-all, ect... just thought i would add that , cos i like mods with bash rings,, well i dont LIKE mods, but you know what i mean,,! iolo
