Mark W
If you don't know, don't post? Anyway, EBC reds are apparently awesome for Avid BB7's. I'm hoping to get a pair myself soon, just gotta track a set down. http://www.ebcbrakes.com/MountainBike.html http://www.cyclestore.co.uk/itemviewer.asp...e=brakediscpads <- That appears to be them, you'd just need to order a pair of "red" pads. cp101
and about the same price as the normal avid pads.

mat hudson
anyone tried the golds. they're a "super high friction formula" i guess thats better than the reds?? ^_^
JT!
anyone tried the golds. they're a "super high friction formula" i guess thats better than the reds?? ^_^ The gold ones are 'sinted' (think that's the word) which means they draw the heat out of the disc. The gold ones creat the least friction. The reds creat the most friction. I'v put my reds on now but i can't really tell the difference. Mind you my avid is patheticly powerful compared to others. :) However, still get enough power, and good modulation. So i'm content.
mat hudson
but ebc say they have a super high friction compound ^_^
Mark W
but ebc say they have a super high friction compound ^_^ They also say that the reds are higher performance, and are suitable for DH racing and so on? Anyway, the golds are sintered, not "sinted" :)
