just looked around a bit more and found a cheng shin one with a 1.5mm wall pritty thick normal ones around 0.9mm think i'm going to get one of them unless some has something better or a reason. don't think the slim will work as it is mostly pinch punktures and the slim goes on the outside of the tube.

Sure , fitting thicker / stronger tubes will help , but it may be worth inspecting your rim carefully . After infaltion , ensure the bead of the tyre is correctly seated and when you get an opportunity , check your rim and it's tape for protrusions , excess metal or any irregularities .

if you have a puncture its usaly no the tubes fault - run more preasure - check your tyers for thorns, check the rims for sharp bits and make sure there is no grit inside the tyer (you can get this from changing the tube outside or in a grubby shed) if you are 11 stone plus and run 25 psi you will get pinchflats all the time.

I am just sgort of 13 stone and have run 20psi for the last year and have never had a punture (Y)

When i 1st started on a stock i ran the same pressure and never got a puncture.

Come to think of it, never had a punture in my 3 years of riding *touches wood*

Thats sort of what im learning to do at the moment, only off about a 5ft drops though (Y) so i can do that reasonably smoothly. Last night i was doing drops and staying on my back wheel, then doing a few more hops. But when i go to backwheel stuff pretty much 2ft max lol after about two day's of doing it iv'e pretty much got the techique sorted out and i can do it reasonably well.

run scwarble 3 inch tubes they work the shiz (Y) plus i like the idea of running an old tube over the original (Y)

Is ok if your patient cause it does take a while to cut the tube and wrap it round.

Waste of time I say, just buy good quality tubes and tyres and you should be fine.
