Tomm
I somehow managed to lose the red knob on the inside of my Avid. Has anyone managed to lose theirs and does it matter?

downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
Its to adjust the right side (static) pad isnt it? you will probably only need it to adjust it?
Tomm
Its to adjust the right side (static) pad isnt it? you will probably only need it to adjust it? You can still turn the little bit in the middle. But there are now no clicks, so I think it'll keep slackening off. Also I dunno if I should let mud and stuff get in there, it might mess it up somehow?
dave85
Because its the static pad, I've found that usually it'll stay put despite not having the knob to lock it. Bit more crap will get in it, bit of tape should sort that.
Tomm
Cool cheers Ed. Unless anyone has a spare nob off an Avid that they've destroyed?

Mr Motivator
No, but the inside pad WILL move out but very slowly. So it will need regular adjustment :turned:
