snapped another hanger today and its made me think about getting a fresh tensioner but if got a few questions for people that use them. with the roller being made of rubber do you get any feedback through the bike from the chain rubbing on it? also with it not having a spring if you land on the chain between the bash and tyre does it damage the chain at all because it doesnt move?

hope that makes sense

What I find tends to happen is not much. Between your bashguard and your chainstay is barely any room anyway, and there is always a tiny bit of slack in the chain anyway.

Its a Nylon roller too btw, no rubber.

I gaurantee you will not snap another mech hanger when one of these tensioners too :turned:

It will move pretty easily if you land on it or your chain gets caught, atleast when used with a qr, not funbolts. Atleast mine does, tough mine isn't a fresh one, but it is a pretty much exact copy of rennen. Cnc'd by my mate who works at a cnc machining shop. Pics to follow soon..
