ScotchDave
Alrighty, right now I'm sitting in my house, in a hell of a lot of pain, why? Because I got a bmx and after riding five or six times, yesterday my lower back decided to start hurting REALLY badly. I could barely walk yesterday, and I'm pretty much the same today, however I can ride a bike just about ok, with a bit of pain. I'm looking for a way to sort my back, I think it's muscular, but I'm not sure. I'm around 6'2'' and my bmx has a 20.75" top tube I think, it's a mongoose fuzz. Any help seriously appreciated. :P Edited October 16, 2005 by div
downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
Sell the BMX and get a mod :P
Michael Hardman
BMX uses your back musces in a different way to trials. Its fine just giveyourself a few days rest and go out aain and build up the muscles. Eat lots of protien see what happens
Tomm
BMX uses your back musces in a different way to trials. Yeah, I notice this when I ride my BMX. You use your back way more in BMX I reckon - Like pulling up for bunnyhops (when on a trials bike you would pedal). Just take it easy on the BMX for a bit and if it starts hurting, stop riding. PaRtZ
(when on a trials bike you would pedal). I think technically you do on a BMX too but because the gear ratio is much higher its hardly noticable/effective Either way mate, just don't do anything for a while and get someone else to do everything for you :P :)

Tomm
I think technically you do on a BMX too but because the gear ratio is much higher its hardly noticable/effective :P I mean on a BMX most people bunny hop, whereas on a trials bike you would pedal into stuff. No-one does pedal-ups on a BMX.

ScotchDave
Yeah, but I have another 6 weeks of a very physical training schedule to complete, if it won't get better in 8 days I'm f**ked.
