EDIT: BTW he is very cheap, he has £44 in his pocket and he wouldn't even lend me a quid today, even though I always return the money ASAP. Stingey willy, lol. RyanRs
The best editor would be a Media 100 studo on mac... but there nearly £80,000 so a wee bit dear... But an alternative would be Adobe Audition Pro........ as you can d/load a Trial copy off a p2p... and then you also may down load a Keygen prog... but god knows what you would do with that :P Edited October 15, 2005 by RyanRs

(Y) Anyways, if you can, get Adobe Pemiere 6.5. Its hard at first for 1st time users, but its the easiest 'decent' editing software. Windows Movie Maker is shocking.. but it is a gd way to get an understanding of the whole capturing/editing process. After this, Premiere Pro 1.5, or if you're on Mac Final Cut Pro 5... if you're rich, Avid DS 7.0 - 150,000 quid, oh yes! >_< J. CBProductions
Basics first (windows movie maker or ulead) then when you get better and get a job/money buy your software as well as getting new equipment. Plus its no good having this ace program if your pc cannot handle it well. Stop advising people to download software your turning the industry into a mess!! Plus its no good having this ace program if your pc cannot handle it well. Stop advising people to download software your turning the industry into a mess!! DOWNLOAD ADOBE PREMIER PRO and get used to it... Its the only program youll need (so long as your pc can handle it) . theres no point learning Win movie maker 1st.. cos its got limited function and is Nothing at all like any other 'Better' editing program.. It would be like learning to ride a motorbike with intent to drive a car! Dont worry about what 'Freeride-Wales' sais bout Downloading... He doesnt seem to realise that not everyone is as rich as him... Why spend Hundreds just for the sake of having a little bit of fun and learning while your there??.. not as if your going in to mass production and earning mega $$$ .. cvtrial
slowmotion in Premiere Pro is real cool! it works for me, and it doesn't look crappy, but I heard Movie Maker is really easy to find a perfect slow motion in..!! USE PREMIERE PRO, and get used to how making the perfect video! (Y)

CBProductions
Nope Im not rich and would appreciate you not commenting on me as you don't no me or my situation . Funnily enough all this money people spend on parts on their bike and getting fancy cameras, im sure they can afford maybe just to get one piece of software for say £50. Why give someone whos never edited before a complex editor and telling them to get used to it they will never learn the basics and therefore make poor videos. Thats like me telling you to go mix a band and that you'll get used to it, ok you'll no what the channel volume does but you wont be able to identify frequencies. If you've never edited before keep it simple, learn the basics and understand why things do what they do then progress much like riding. Piracy is illegal and the more you encourage it the more people will mess up with registering e.t.c and they will begin to notice and clamp down. It's not like adobe's trials have restrictions except the amount of days and then you can just download another copy. Craig Ha, i would love to see a shop that sells adobe premier for £50 ! i learnt to edit with Media 100 workstation, its only as confusing as you make it.. you can do the basics of windows movie maker in premier, just as simple as WMM itsself. Also, so what bout computer piracy! what do you care if they clamp down on it? if you care bout it that much then surely you would encourage it, then they will clamp down quicker and put a stop to it.. viola! i really cant be bothered to argue about this.. i dont understand your love for genuine computer software  mabe your like the computer software version of a bus spotter?? ^_^

Craig Yeah but the only reason piracy is illegal is because the companys want as much money as they can get. if you dont download it your wasting your money. You can get the exact piece of software off the internet for free.

(N) I didnt say adobe premeir, and also I wouldnt want to encourage piracy so they clamp down as it will mess up the industry I am in by putting people out of jobs because small companies cannot afford to compete with people who do it. Im not arguing I think its best not to encourage especially as this forum is open to all and your ip's are logged e.t.c Yeah but the only reason piracy is illegal is because the companys want as much money as they can get. if you dont download it your wasting your money. They deserve every penny they get , they work hard to put those programs together and that was clever to post the websites so all can see! Top marks . *moderators do your job encouraging piracy shouldn't be allowed!* Craig
