Bombers On A Pashley?

I was asking if they would work on my bike and be ok with the geo etc as I wasnt that sure

People get very shirty about street trials not being trials. What is it with these people?? Trials snobs.... Ive said before that trials is WAY more than just hopping around on rocks and riding through tapes in under 2 mins without putting your feet down. Trials is whatever you want t make it, in the street, woods, moors...Whatever you want, theres no limit on what you can ride. Why do stuck up people insist on pigeon holing trials into strict catagories??? "Oh thats not trials"

so if a BMX'er is riding street then thats street trials, and if a dirt jumper is riding jumps through the woods thats wood trials? i dont understand the point that you are trying to make

i understand that trials can be ridden on many different terains but surley thats trials in the woods, or trials on the stree, or natural trials???

Ryan and Jeff :turned: (Y) :P I think their style rules! All my inspiration comes from them two guys...

buy a bloody norco and some sus forks and then just shut up, on all these topics youve made no matter what people say you seem to have made your opinions already, so buy a norco, ride like ryan leech and just go out riding!

Right theres a problem there

When you post a topic asking for help, people have to "read your posts" so they understand what it is you're asking.

Chris might have had the one answer you wanted, but with that snobbish, spoilt attitude of yours you've basically told him that you dont want help. And its not just chris you've done this too, its everyone else WHOS TRIED TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION

Be courteous and respect other peoples opinions please

what is wrong with that idea?

Im trying to get to the bottom of the problem I have about deciding on a new setup.... things I discovered are that the norco geo is;

Top tube 22.40"

Head angle 72

chainstays 404mm

Wheelbase 1017mm

Fork Length 372mm ???? dont understand that size? seems a little bit....mad

pashley

Top tube: 22"

head angle 72

Chain stays: 407mm

Wheelbase: 1045mm (with the straight blade forks)

Leech bike has the same head angle of 72........Is a shorter wheelbase...BUT, the top tube is longer ? I dont get it?

Stays are 3 mm longer which wont make any diff at all but its way way shorter which defeats the object of my getting a longer frame to help ideas. Dont know what the wheelbase of my bike is as I have the tv series forks on...around 1040 id say..405 mm fork

you could always measure it. if you think the pashley is too small get a longer bike, how about an onza woodstock(1055)?

or back to my original sugestion of a short echo control or a 1065 levelboss

echo koxx, yeah. Some people have said they are no good for me and I wont be able to do certain moves on them which I fing hard to believe but I aint rode one, its seems to do a never ending circle of conflicting advice. Im listening to what everyone has to say, studying the geo specs, and trying to analyze

all the info I have to come up with a decision but Im finding it all quite confusing... :P :turned: (Y)

Lol hes well mature... i thought i said he was one of the most controversial people i kno but message didnt come up :P youve been on the forum 3 days nd are acting like you own it and telling people what to do

Yeah well. Thank you very much for your input

Pitbulls are nice and in 1060 have a slack head-angle so seem short and are really flicky :turned:

Hmm thats what I thought, with a shorter back, and a riser bar with a 90mm ten degree rise stem it should fel fine for quick twisty moves, backwheel 360s, front wheel pivots, what about hop up manuals etc?? short back end should be good right?? What Id like is a bike with a wheel base of around 1055/1065 not sure if 1065 would be too long? I ride 1040 now, pashley. a shorter back end to help on the back wheel, around 380/385 a headangle that gives a long top tube of around 22,5" ish maybe longer, dont know what angle would giv that, a bb height that aint too mad, +10mm rise max, or 0 even better with a short snappy feel but room for me to feel comfortable
